Homemade Ozone Generators Aren’t Safe

Many people say that ozone generators are dangerous, but it’s simply a matter of knowing how to use one. Ozone can be harmful to humans and animals, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it. You simply have to use an ozone generator in a room where there are no people or animals.

Take them out of the room before running it. However, there are even more dangers if you decide to make your own. There are many things that can harm you when you attempt to create your own ozone generator at home and there’s no guarantee that it’ll fill the room that you have it in.

Aside from the obvious ozone danger, making an ozone generator can have a lot of dangers dealing with electricity and other energy. Since it needs an energy source in the open air, it’s possible a stray spark might jump to wood or curtains in your room.

This is especially dangerous since you won’t be able to watch the ozone generator to make sure it doesn’t cause a fire. You can’t be in the same room as ozone, so there’s no way to tell if you’ll have a fire break out or not. It will be a lot easier to simply get an ozone generator from an online retailer or rent one from a local business.
